What do I need?:

Notepad preferably A4 hard back. Assorted colour pens, preferable a 4-in-1 colour pen and additional colours: you need black, blue, red, green and orange or yellow. Also a pencil with eraser and sharpner. You may take notes on a tablet or laptop.

Preparation:

You don’t need to prepare any specific. However we do advise a little background reading, so you find the course easier to take in also having practical driving experience can benefit also.

 


Which course is best?:

The 3 Day CourseĀ  is best as it covers almost everything and practice so all you have to do is memory revision (Recommended). Day 4 to be booked when recommended. If you have learning difficulties or weak English, scroll down.

 


Hazard Perception:

We have a superb way of getting you to understand the Hazard Perception test and will teach you the best techniques. Once pupils have completed our course they score an average 65-75.

Is the course enough?

Once you have completed any of the courses, complete the bespoke action plan provided, use your notes to revise, flick through the basics and use the website issued to practice online. After a 3 day course and completing your action plan, you are ready to go.

 


When shall I book my test?

Everyone is unique so many factors need to be taken innconsideration. Below is a rough example:

Never done a test before: 4 -14 days after course. You will be advised at the end of the 3rd day of the course to either move the test back, forward, or left as it is

Failed a test with marks 42 / Passed before but expired: 5-6 days after course

Failed a test with marks 40-41 / Very mild learning difficulties / English 2nd language: 7-8 days after the course

Failed a test with marks 35-39 / Mild learning difficulties / English a bit weak: 9-10 days after the course

Failed a test with marks 30-34 / Learning difficulties / English is conversational: 11-14 days after the course

Failed a test with marks 29 or less / Adverse learning difficulties / English is weak: 3 weeks after the course. Must have someone with you on the course for support / translate. Classroom course they must be pre- booked.

 


90% – 100% Pass rate:

Our customers have a 91% pass rate after completing our full 3 day course and fully following our instructions. Pass rate are calculated February to February from the pupils who have got back to us, effort is made to contact pupils after a week. Pass rate include mild Dyslexia pupils but not adverse learning difficulties as process can differ. However, delegates with adverse learning difficulties pass rate reach in the 70s. We also have testimonials on our website, Google, Facebook like page and Trust Pilot. The government figures for Theory Test pass rate is 43% (2016), which shows we have a very high margin above average. Our pass rate is only based on delegates who have completed the full course and followed all instructions after post course.

We provide Training to cover both the Theory Test, and Hazard Perception Test with a professional tutor live. We use a variety of teaching methods, including the use of visual aids:

This approach ensures that you are constantly engaged in the information you need to process. Another plus is that we use primary sources to convey this information across to the students.

Dyslexia, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Stroke, Aspergers or alike:

Since we opened, 25% of our pupils have Dyslexia or other form of learning needs so do not feel alone! Never feel shy, afraid or ashamed when visiting us. We wont make you feel like you stick out of the class or ask you to read out.

Our courses are very visual and consist of many images, videos and illustrations. We also verbally repeat notes for your benefit. We also explain the extra benefits you are entitled to in order to help you take your Theory Test.

You must bringĀ someone with you to make notes for you and so on. They must also be booked.

We know with Dyslexia or alike you can suffer with any of the following:

– Taking information in.

– Understanding something.

– Letters missing, backwards or jumbled up.

BSL (British Sign Language) :

We are hoping to have BSL added to our future courses. We do not have a expected time of delivery. For the meantime we recommend contacting CityLit who do provide this service. If you are a BSL interpreter or are a part of a BSL institute please contact us.
